Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a 2D Echo Technician I. As a 2D Echo Technician I, you will assist in performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality echocardiographic images.
Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process to them, positioning patients correctly, and operating ultrasound equipment to capture images of the heart. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret the obtained images for diagnostic purposes.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as a thorough knowledge of ultrasound equipment and techniques. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a 2D Echo Technician
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
