Job Description
A 2D Echo Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients using high frequency sound waves to produce dynamic visual images of the heart.
The main responsibilities of a 2D Echo Technician include:
- Preparing patients for the procedure by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Performing diagnostic tests using ultrasound equipment to produce 2D images of the heart.
- Analyzing the images to identify any abnormalities or diseases.
- Collaborating with physicians, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret the results and develop treatment plans.
- Maintaining and calibrating the ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate readings.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
