Job Description
This position is responsible for preparing and submitting daily generation load profile forecasts to the WESM, ensuring adherence to the Forecast Accuracy Standard for solar plants. The role involves monitoring WESM prices, preparing price forecasts, and ensuring compliance with all trading rules. Additionally, the position focuses on identifying and mitigating risks related to WESM compliance and trading activities, and providing regular reports for management review.
Moreover, the Energy and Compliance Analyst generates regulatory compliance reports for agencies such as DOE, ERC, IEMOP, PEMC, and NGCP. Collaboration with the Operations and Maintenance department is key for gathering operational data. They also work towards minimizing environmental impact and promoting sustainability initiatives. Involvement in the company’s Sustainability and CSR activities is essential.
