Job Description
Responsible for providing timely and accurate recording of transactions in the general ledger in compliance with customer requirements as stipulated in the Service Level Agreement (SLA), global accounting policy with limited supervision of the Supervisor/Manager. This includes balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, allocations, intercompany balance confirmation, fixed assets transactional processing, reporting, and conducting month-end close procedures.
TASKS:
- Prepare and post journal entries in the general ledger
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, process fixed asset transactions, and provide various reports
- Perform financial statement analysis and necessary adjustments
- Perform bank reconciliation and month-end closing activities
- Identify and resolve issues, review journals, perform internal controls review
- Prepare monthly and quarterly unit consolidation reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years of finance professional experience, General Ledger function knowledge required
- Experience in SAP System and Shared Services Center/BPO preferred
- Experience in process migration is a plus
- Ability to work under time pressure with strong work ethic and effective communication skills
