Job Description
The General Accountant at Grepcor Diamonde Inc is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. This role involves managing the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
- Assist Financial Controller during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
- Ensure the accuracy of financial statements under PFRS and compliance with internal policies
- Handles bank reconciliation and vendors/account reconciliation in SAP
- Handles balance sheet account reconciliation
- Review documentation for and record financial transactions
- Supervisor regular accounting processes
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of BS Accountancy, Finance or related field
- Must have at least 3 years work experience in general or financial accounting and reporting
- Knowledgeable with PFRS
- Familiar with BIR regulations and issuances
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- Experience in SAP B1 is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Adaptable and can work in a fast-paced work environment
