Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attach loads to rigging machinery for movement
- Perform pulley and block attaching activities
- Ensure proper attachment of pulleys and blocks
- Assemble and dismantle rigging equipment
- Manipulate rigging lines and hoists for control
- Select appropriate cables, pulleys, and winches
- Communicate with construction staff for safety
- Test and set-up rigging for safety
- Ensure compliance with safe rigging practices
- Perform maintenance on rigging equipment
- Store rigging gear properly and maintain cleanliness
- Create work reports at the end of each shift
