Job Description
The Pricing and Inventory Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing pricing and inventory strategies to maximize profitability and ensure product availability. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer behavior to develop pricing strategies that drive sales and revenue
- Monitor and forecast demand to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts or excessive inventory
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align pricing and promotion strategies with business goals
- Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support decision-making processes
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and margin improvement
- Generate reports and present findings to management to support strategic planning and decision-making
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent understanding of pricing concepts and strategies
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and presentation skills
