Job Description
The Process Engineering team at Vishay plays a crucial role by:
- Operating within the production area to develop, implement, and manage manufacturing methods.
- Defining process requirements, procedures, and providing equipment recommendations for product lines.
- Executing Process-FMEA analyses to eliminate operations risks.
- Defining process control methodologies and managing statistical process control systems.
- Liaising with Quality Assurance and Design Engineers for customer inquiries and new product launches.
This job level involves:
- Monitoring trends for incremental improvements.
- Conducting research and creating informative reports.
- Contributing to projects enhancing functional efficiency.
- Managing specific workstreams and providing consultancy on dedicated subject matters.
- Making independent judgments on relevant process subjects.
