Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Manage and coordinate purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and ensuring adherence to agreements.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee the logistics and transportation of goods, ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in supply chain management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain software and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Ship Management/Shipping industry.
- Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations.
- Certification in supply chain management is a plus.
