Job Description
Responsibilities:
The Quality Control Supervisor is accountable to develop and administer Product Safety and Quality programs that result in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures, Food Safety, GMPs, and customer requirements as related to process and packaging of products produced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in inspecting incoming materials, work in progress items, and finished goods to ensure compliance to agreed quality standards. Formulates inspection procedures, highlights data points to be examined, establishes correct measuring devices to be used, and setting maximum and minimum tolerances.
- Coordinates and distributes product data points and inspection procedures to engineering, production control, and inspection workstations.
- Inspects molded components following first-run production and advises machine & mold technicians of the type of defects noted and the need for further adjustment.
- Improves on the inspection procedure and feedback system to the machine & mold technicians until the finished product meets or exceeds the approved quality standards.
- Coordinates with customer sales representatives to resolve complaints with clients.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned that are relevant to the job function.
