Job Description
A Credit Risk Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting credit risk data to support decision-making processes within a financial institution. This role involves gathering and analyzing large volumes of data related to credit portfolios, assessing credit risks, and developing strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
The Credit Risk Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, finance, and business operations. They will utilize statistical modeling and data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks in credit portfolios. This position also involves creating reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements for the Credit Risk Data Analyst position include a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a related field. Proficiency in statistical analysis software, such as SAS or R, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience in credit risk analysis and familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance issues are preferred.
