Job Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Associate – Proofreader to join our team. As an Associate – Proofreader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of written content before it is published or disseminated to our audience.
Your primary responsibility will be to carefully review and correct any grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and punctuation inconsistencies in various written materials, including articles, reports, advertisements, and marketing materials. You will also collaborate with writers and editors to ensure clarity, coherence, and proper formatting.
Key qualifications and skills for this position include a strong command of the English language, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines. You must possess excellent grammar and proofreading skills, as well as a keen eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies.
Prior experience as a proofreader or editor is highly preferred. Familiarity with style guides, such as the Chicago Manual of Style or Associated Press (AP) Stylebook, is a plus. Proficiency in using proofreading tools, like Grammarly or ProWritingAid, is also desirable.
