Job Description
A Network Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining computer networks within an organization. This includes designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, ensuring network security, and optimizing network performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring network hardware and software
- Monitoring network performance and identifying issues
- Managing network security systems and protocols
- Collaborating with other IT teams to resolve network-related problems
- Implementing network upgrades and improvements
- Documenting network configurations and procedures
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Certification in network administration (such as Cisco CCNA) is a plus.
