Job Description
Analyzes the cost expenditures and purchases within the organization. Drives profitability by recommending cost efficient and financially feasible cost options.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluates standard costing of imported goods and accessories fabrication and preparation variance analysis of standard vs actual costing.
- Analyzes production costs and prepares regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Reviews and recommends costs of product and services.
- Develops inventory analysis reports and analyzes variances.
- Coordinates with warehouse and auditor regarding semestral inventory count and Fixed Asset Count.
- Prepares timely inventory report that will be submitted to internal (executives/management) and external (BIR) parties.
- Ensures compliance to company health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Maintains organized accounting files and related documents.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, preferably Certified Public Accountant.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the cost accounting functions.
- Knowledgeable in ERPS, preferably SAP B1 and BIR System.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Meticulous with a keen interest in the cost-efficient operations of the organization.
- Strong sense of time management and self-improvement.
- Able to perform productively while under pressure.
- Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiatives.
WILLING TO WORK IN MANDALUYONG CITY
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Php45,00.00 – Php50,00.00 per month
Experience:
- COST ACCOUNTING/SAP B1/BIR: 3 years (Preferred)
