Job Description
BASIC FUNCTION: The Optician is responsible for grinding eyeglass lenses to prescription specifications and assembling lenses in frames. This role includes reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions and examining broken lenses for repairs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare lens patterns based on frame size and shape.
- Check lens grade and axis against job order specifications.
- Plot and check lens layout according to pupillary distance.
- Cut prescribed lens layout.
- Provide accessories as needed.
- Repair and adjust frames.
- Maintain laboratory equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php18,00.00 – Php22,00.00 per month
