Job Description

PAISD is mandated to keep the constituents of Quezon City well informed about the City government’s plans and programs, to inspire their support for and participation in those plans and programs, and to assist in the information dissemination components of the city government’s programs and projects. The Public Affairs and Information Services Department of the Quezon City Government needs a new writer who can contribute contents and written materials to the communication strategies of the department.

Requirements:

  1. Must be a graduate of Communications, Mass Communications, Journalism, Broadcasting Communications or other related courses.
  2. Preferably has 2-3 years of experience in writing speeches, press releases, articles, briefers and other written materials.
  3. Can develop, lead or contribute to communication plans and campaigns.
  4. Proficient in Tagalog and English language.
  5. Has mastery of spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  6. Able to work freely and proactively with little supervision; and able to work on different projects at a time.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to coordinate with colleagues, relevant departments, and other sources.
  8. Good time management skills.
