Job Description
The Quality Assurance Manager ensures that all processes contributing to the performance of a clinical trial are conducted in accordance with guidelines and regulations. They are responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with regulatory requirements. The focus of the position is to develop, perform, and manage all quality assurance related activities.
TASKS
- Manage and maintain databases for the quality system and prepare/assist in the preparation of annual reports and quality trending reports, including:
- Accrediting organizations
- Activities and schedules
- Perform QA studies
- Review survey reports
- Problem solving and developing corrective actions
- Develop QA policies for unit/hospital
- Lecture to hospital staff
- Benefits of QA in department/unit
- Lectures to Supervisors
- Materials on lecture to staff
- Tools/Methods in QA
- Policy Development
- QA Committee monthly meeting
- Compliance to Benchbook requirements
- Problems encountered and corrective actions
- Next activities and schedules
- PSQua training, etc.
