Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly proficient and detail-oriented US Accountant/CAS Specialist to join our team. As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing clients’ financial information, performing account reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and coordinating with tax professionals to ensure accurate tax compliance. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of US accounting regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing month-end close activities, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Assisting with tax compliance and preparation, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and systems
- Providing financial expertise and guidance to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in US accounting
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
