Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Specialist to join our team. As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, as well as optimizing our tax strategies to minimize the company’s tax liabilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement tax strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, interpreting and communicating their impact on the organization
- Assist with tax audits and inquiries, responding to tax authorities in a timely and comprehensive manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or other relevant certifications are highly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
