Job Description
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall maintenance and operations of a company’s facilities. This role requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of building systems and facilities management principles.
The key responsibilities of a Facilities Manager include developing and implementing facility management procedures, managing the budget for facility operations, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a degree in facility management or a related field, along with several years of experience in facilities management. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as the Facilities Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of maintenance staff and collaborating with various departments.
