Job Description
LifeSquare Laboratories Inc. is looking for a Purchasing Officer to join our team. As a Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for performing field canvassing and purchasing activities. Your main tasks will include conducting research on products and vendors, processing Purchase Orders, inspecting delivered items, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining confidentiality on all purchasing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on products and vendors through phone or the internet
- Process Purchase Orders and forward them to Hospital Administrator for approval
- Inspect and witness delivered items to ensure they conform to quantity, quality, and specifications
- Coordinate with different suppliers for end-users’ concerns
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers to follow up on delivery dates and backorders
- Maintain integrity by practicing fair play and keeping confidentiality
- Confer with suppliers to obtain product information such as prices, availability, and delivery schedules
- Notify suppliers of approved Purchase Orders through fax, phone call, or email
- Ensure all Purchase Requests are given accordingly
- Perform other tasks assigned by the superior
