Job Description
The China Road and Bridge Corporation is inviting applications for the position of Environmental Specialist to join our team on Samal Island. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and planning environmental initiatives as per the requirements of the Project Proponent. Key responsibilities include supervising environmental monitoring activities (air, water, and noise), conducting on-site inspections in collaboration with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and reviewing environmental reports to ensure regulatory compliance. The Specialist will work closely with the Pollution Control Officer to uphold all legal and environmental standards while monitoring adherence to the Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC), Environmental Performance Report and Management Plan (EPRMP), Environmental Management Plan (EMP), and Construction Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (CEMMP).
