Job Description
A Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing and managing the company’s payroll system. They play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees, as well as maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting and verifying employee timekeeping records
- Calculating wages, deductions, and benefits
- Preparing and processing payroll data
- Addressing employee inquiries and concerns regarding payroll
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and reports
- Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy
- Staying updated with payroll laws and regulations
The ideal candidate for this position possesses excellent numerical and analytical skills. Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to handle confidential information are also essential. Proficiency in payroll software and knowledge of relevant labor laws are desired qualifications.
