Job Description
1.0 DUTIES:
1.1 Regular Duties
- Prepares the daily activities of the outlet bar, monitors stocks, equipment, and bar sales.
- Prepares beverage orders and recipes for beverage promotions.
- Takes daily supplies inventory.
- Makes necessary bar requisition.
- Implements beverage regulations.
- Maintains complete information of all beverage items; alcoholic and non-alcoholic selections available in the assigned outlet.
- Builds customer relations and acts on guest complaints.
1.2 Occasional Duties
- Periodically reviews and analyzes the outlet’s beverage performance and proposes appropriate measures to improve operations and sales.
- Recommends cocktails and other drinks for promotion.
1.3 Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior. (Does not apply to top management.)
6.0 QUALIFICATIONS:
- Educational Requirement: Must have finished a two-year course in Food and Beverage Services, Management, Culinary Arts, International Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Restaurant and Institution Management, or its equivalent.
- Work Experience/s: At least 2 years of working experience in the food and beverage operations of a five-star/deluxe hotel.
- Special Qualities/Skills Required:
- Must be knowledgeable in bartending and cocktail concoction.
- Pleasing personality, with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to customer service resulting in guest satisfaction.
- Must possess good oral and written skills.
- Thorough knowledge of management standards of beverage quality and service.
