Job Description
Forthress Philippines Corporation is currently seeking a Purchasing Assistant responsible for sourcing and buying materials, goods, and services to be used in our daily operations. As a Purchasing Assistant, you will negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value for our company.
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of any four-year course
- Previous experience in purchasing-related activities in manufacturing, hardware, or construction
- Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers
- Delivers reports on time
- Keen attention to details
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must have a strong personality
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must follow the company’s code of conduct and policies
Responsibilities:
- Strategically source items within the allotted budget
- Purchase items, goods, or materials as needed
- Organize delivery schedules
- Process Purchase Request Forms (PRF) to be validated by the Cost Controller
- Conduct monthly central warehouse inventory with the cost controller
- Find ways to save costs on consumables and supplies used in our operations
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed-term, Temporary, Fresh Graduate
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Day shift
Supplemental Pay Types: 13th-month salary
Ability to Commute: Makati (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Makati: Relocate before starting work (Required)
