Job Description
We seek a detail-oriented Assistant Chemist to join our Oil Laboratory and perform routine testing and analysis of petroleum samples. The role involves sample preparation, operation and basic maintenance of instruments (GC, FTIR, viscometer, density meters), accurate data recording and validation, adherence to QA/QC and safety protocols, and support for method development and troubleshooting under senior chemists’ guidance.
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Laboratory experience or internship preferred; strong attention to detail.
- Excellent record-keeping, communication skills, reliability, and teamwork.
