Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Medical Coding Trainer to lead education for inpatient coding teams and strengthen coding accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver classroom and virtual training; design curricula and supporting learning materials.
- Perform chart audits, provide constructive feedback, mentor coders, and monitor performance metrics.
- Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams to resolve coding issues and drive process improvements.
Requirements: CCS or equivalent certification, a minimum of 3 years of inpatient coding experience, in-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and DRG logic, and strong analytical and communication skills.
