Job Description
EO Executive seeks a detail-oriented Optician to grind and fit eyeglass lenses to prescription, assemble lenses into frames, inspect broken lenses to determine original prescriptions, and perform minor frame repairs. Duties include preparing lens patterns to frame size, verifying lens power and axis, plotting layouts by pupillary distance, cutting lenses, and applying accessories such as nylon for semi-rimless frames, coatings, and tints. The role also involves replacing screws and nose pads, soldering and gold plating frames, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Optician Trainees must complete a 16-day training program. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position at EO Executive; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
