Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Charge Entry Specialist to accurately record patient charges in our billing system. Responsibilities include reviewing clinical documentation, verifying insurance and coding details, posting charges, resolving denials, and coordinating with clinical and billing teams to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
- Requirements: strong data-entry speed and accuracy; basic knowledge of CPT/ICD coding and medical billing software (EHR experience preferred); clear communication skills; ability to meet deadlines; high school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year of healthcare billing experience preferred.
