Job Description
As an Underwriting Associate (Bond), you will be responsible for attending and evaluating all inquiries through phone or walk-in clients, underwriting bond applications, finalizing all information on Bond Approval Sheet (BAS), and monitoring the status of BAS.
You will also be in charge of updating the company profile, financial statements, and board resolution, providing assistance to the Collection department for payments of bonds, as well as updating and monitoring collateral posted by the Principal.
Additionally, you will be responsible for signing endorsements and bonds within the limit of authority.
Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Legal Management, BS Actuarial Math, Statistics, Mathematics, or any related field.
Proficiency in the standard and accepted usage of the English language, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar, is required.
Work experience in the same or related position or industry is an advantage. Knowledge of modern office procedures, methods, computer equipment, and related spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications is also necessary.
Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Applicants must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City.
