Job Description
- Searching and identifying prospective suppliers and maintaining strong supplier relations
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
- Liaising with internal project, logistics, and finance teams
- Evaluating products and suppliers
- Preparing purchase requests and purchase orders
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns
- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings
- Responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies
- Supporting and assisting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and other work that arises within the department
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records
- Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
