Job Description
A Telemarketer is responsible for conducting outbound calls to potential customers with the aim of promoting or selling products or services. They must have excellent communication and persuasion skills to engage customers over the phone and present the benefits of the product or service being offered.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Initiating calls to potential customers using a provided script
- Promoting and selling products or services to interested customers
- Explaining product features and benefits to potential customers
- Handling customer objections and ensuring their queries are resolved
- Recording customer information and details of the interaction in a CRM system
The ideal candidate should have a pleasant telephone manner, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Prior experience in sales or telemarketing would be advantageous.
