Job Description

PURPOSE

The Accounts Payable Officer ensures accurate and complete transactional processing in accordance with company policy. Primary responsibilities include the accounting and internal reporting for all balance sheet and P&L accounts pertaining to inventory. This individual will be the subject matter expert for all systems used and will prepare various reports and analysis for management.

KEY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Spearhead AP and Inventory section
• Checking and Validation of created AP voucher
• Developing inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances, ensures that inventory counts are completed regularly and in a timely manner, strategize improvement of internal controls related to inventory
• Audit the facility’s entire inventory on a regular basis and provide reports to manager
• Trains other employees who will participate in cycle counting and inventory control
• Checking and validate Inventory adjustment request by warehouse
• Validates gross profit margin per Business Unit initiated sales promotion in coordination with PPIC
• Provides support to the Accounting Manager by assisting other functions within the group as needed.
• Participate in special projects as requested by the management
• Reports: Monthly Inventory Report, Monthly OPEX Report, Daily and Weekly Outflow

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate preferably, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in the same capacity
• Knowledge in MS Excel and SAP
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, business partners, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, confidentiality, and project management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php20,00.00 – Php28,00.00 per month
