Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Estimator II. As an Estimator II, you will play a crucial role in our organization by accurately assessing project costs and developing competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing project plans, specifications, and requirements.
- Conducting site visits to gather information and assess project scopes.
- Collaborating with engineering and construction teams to determine cost-effective solutions.
- Preparing and submitting detailed cost estimates and bids.
- Managing and maintaining cost databases and historical records.
- Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
- Participating in project meetings to provide cost-related insights.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an estimator, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in cost estimating software and tools.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
