Job Description
The NOC Technical Support (Tier I) position is an entry-level role in the Network Operations Center (NOC) department. As a Tier I support technician, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting solutions to customers or internal employees.
You will handle incoming queries and issues, categorize them, and ensure proper escalation to higher-tier support if needed. You will work closely with the NOC team and utilize various troubleshooting tools and software to resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills are crucial as you will be required to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing. You must possess a strong customer service orientation and have the ability to handle difficult situations professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts, computer hardware, and software is required, along with the willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are also essential for this role.
