Job Description
- Study, review, and interpret construction plans.
- Prepare technical shop drawings (drawn to scale), datasheets, and documents under the direction of engineers/supervisors.
- Prepare necessary RFAs, RFIs, or other required documentations related to plans.
- Maintain and update electronic drawings and documents.
- Thoroughly review and check sketches and drawings for errors before sending them to architects, subcontractors, project managers, etc.
- Assist Estimators with plans and plan changes to keep takeoffs current with plans and checklists.
- Work closely with AutoCAD managers, project managers, and project engineers to ensure precise design and meet contract responsibilities.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in construction plan reviewing/building inspection or relevant construction field.
