Job Description
A driller is a skilled individual who specializes in operating drilling equipment to extract natural resources such as oil, gas, or minerals from the earth’s surface. They play a crucial role in the exploration and production of these resources.
Responsibilities:
- Operate drilling machinery to extract resources according to safety guidelines and operating procedures.
- Monitor drilling operations continuously, making adjustments as necessary to maintain efficiency and safety.
- Inspect drilling equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
- Collaborate with geologists and engineers to gather data and analyze samples during the drilling process.
