Job Description
As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and control of costs on construction projects. You will collaborate with senior surveyors to ensure that projects are completed within budget and adhere to quality standards.
You will assist in estimating project costs, preparing tender and contract documents, and evaluating contractor bids. Additionally, you will be involved in monitoring the progress of construction works, assessing variations and claims, and producing regular reports on financial status.
To thrive in this position, you should have a strong understanding of construction principles, excellent mathematical and analytical skills, and proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD and Excel. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred.
