Job Description
A Transit Mixer Driver is responsible for safely operating a transit mixer truck to transport and deliver concrete from the plant to the construction sites. Duties include loading and unloading the mixer with concrete, ensuring the concrete consistency is maintained during transit, and adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a good understanding of mixer truck operations. They should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and have a strong focus on safety.
Prior experience in operating transit mixer trucks and knowledge of basic maintenance is preferred. This job requires physical stamina, as it involves frequently lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods. Individuals must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
