Job Description
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least Post Graduate Diploma/Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or Equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a related field is required for this position.
- Strong background in marketing and communication.
- Proven working experience in merchandising.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising engaging campaigns.
- Updated knowledge of the latest merchandising trends and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening, presentation, and decision-making skills.
- Business acumen and the ability to understand customers’ needs.
Job Description:
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies.
- Analyze sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs.
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and time-scales.
- Create plans that balance customers’ expectations and company objectives.
- Manage store layout, inventory, and shelf maintenance.
- Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets.
- Monitor stock movement and implement promotional strategies.
- Build constructive customer relationships and collaborate with channel partners.
- Stay updated with industry best practices.
