Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Associate, Category Strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies to drive growth and maximize profitability for our company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities within assigned categories
- Developing and implementing category plans and objectives
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute category strategies
- Monitoring and analyzing category performance and making recommendations for improvement
- Managing vendor relationships and negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and terms
- Assisting in the development of promotional campaigns and pricing strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Previous experience in category management or related roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
