Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Collections and Cash Apps Specialist to join our team. As a Collections and Cash Apps Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, collecting outstanding payments, and ensuring accurate cash applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle collections activities, including making collection calls, monitoring overdue accounts, and negotiating payment arrangements
- Perform cash applications, ensuring all payments are accurately allocated to customer accounts
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and billing issues
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer disputes and inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance collections and cash application efficiency
Requirements:
- Prior experience in collections and cash applications is preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficient in using collection software and MS Office applications
