Job Description
A Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients or users who are experiencing IT issues or problems. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with clients to diagnose and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to service requests and incidents, either via phone, email, or ticketing system
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Providing guidance and instructions to users on how to resolve common IT problems
- Collaborating with other IT teams to escalate and resolve more complex issues
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of service requests and incidents
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
