Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Transportation: Oversee the transportation of goods from production facilities to distribution centers and customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Inventory Management: Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production and customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
- Order Processing: Process and coordinate customer orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery. Collaborate with sales and production teams to align inventory levels with customer demand.
- Cost Control: Implement cost-effective logistics solutions, negotiate favorable contracts with carriers, and continuously seek opportunities to optimize transportation and distribution costs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including production, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
