Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Consultant – Technical Writer to join our team. As the Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and organizing technical documentation for our company’s products and services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and clarity in all written materials.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
- Ensuring documentation adheres to company standards and is consistent with industry best practices.
- Working closely with subject matter experts to gather technical information and ensure a deep understanding of our products and services.
- Reviewing and editing existing documentation to improve clarity, accuracy, and readability.
- Creating and maintaining a library of technical terminology and documentation templates.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, with a focus on software or technology products.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Computer Science or Technical Communication.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools, such as Adobe FrameMaker or MadCap Flare.
