Job Description
A Customer Support Representative is responsible for providing assistance and support to customers who have queries or issues regarding a product or service. They are the primary point of contact between the company and its customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a prompt and professional manner
- Understanding customer needs and providing appropriate solutions or escalating complex issues to the relevant department
- Handling customer complaints, resolving problems, and maintaining a positive and empathetic attitude
- Updating customer accounts with relevant information and recording details of customer interactions
- Collaborating with other team members to improve the overall customer support process
