Job Description
Ortigas & Company is currently hiring an Architect to join our team. As an Architect, you will be responsible for various tasks including:
- Monitoring and assisting in tracking the projects’ progress to ensure all requirements and milestones are met;
- Conducting design meetings and coordinating with consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders;
- Assisting in evaluating consultant proposals, preparing drafting award memos to consultants, and monitoring projects’ professional budget;
- Coordinating and following up with consultants for project deliverables and schedule;
- Assisting in monitoring the Professional Fee Budget;
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders for TOR;
- Coordinating with consultants in developing and refining plans and details in each phase of design to be consistent with project requirements;
- Assisting in reviewing all drawings and providing input and recommendations to creatively resolve areas of conflict with all disciplines;
- Providing assistance to CMD as needed during Design Development, Tender, and Construction through workshops and special design meetings;
- Coordinating with consultants, suppliers, and/or contractors for material finishes/furniture to be used in Mall projects;
- Assisting CMD in clash resolution during BIM workshop;
- Providing project information, plans, and details as required to Project Development, Marketing, Construction, and other internal stakeholders as needed;
- Working with the team to produce the Manual for standard residential design requirements;
- Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance of construction work with approved design drawings;
- Researching new products and technology.
