Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise all aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and food safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
• Train and develop staff members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, striving to resolve issues promptly and to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials.
• Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.

Experience:

• Previous experience in kitchen management or as an assistant manager in a restaurant setting is required.
• Strong knowledge of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests.
• Solid understanding of hospitality management principles and practices.
• Proven ability to effectively manage shift schedules and allocate resources efficiently.
• Experience conducting interviews and hiring new staff members.
• Culinary background or training is a plus.
