Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to join our team as a Logistics/Impex Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our company’s import and export operations, ensuring smooth and timely transportation of goods.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor import and export shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
- Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure compliance with regulations and delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and delivery status.
- Analyze transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of logistics and international trade regulations. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also essential.
