Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Security and Risk Officer to join our dynamic team. As an IT Security and Risk Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security measures to safeguard our organization’s systems and data.
Your primary role will involve evaluating our current security protocols, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities, and implementing effective controls to mitigate these risks. You will also be responsible for monitoring our systems for any security breaches or unauthorized access and taking immediate action to rectify any issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential security weaknesses
- Developing and implementing IT security policies and procedures
- Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitoring and analyzing network traffic for suspicious activities
- Managing and responding to security incidents
- Providing security awareness training to staff members
To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of IT security principles, protocols, and best practices. You should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
